There is a huge variety out there when it comes to carrying solutions for your gear.  Standard backpacks, messenger bags, wheeled luggage and more are out there for your perusal, but one of the most popular options has always been the sling bag.

"However flawed their basic design, sling bags have long been a favorite among photographers, especially those who like carrying their gear on their shoulders," explains Doug Murdoch, president of Think Tank, the company behind Sling-O-Matic.

He says that their new bag offers one feature you won't find anywhere else -  a feature that makes sling bags far more practical.  "We solved one of their biggest problems," says Murdoch, "which is that carrying heavy equipment solely on one shoulder can cause pain. Within just a few seconds, photographers can quickly switch the load - and the weight - from one shoulder to the other"

Three different Sling-O-Matic bags are currently available.  The Sling-O-Matic 10 can hold a pro-size DSLR and four different lenses while the Sling-O-Matic 20 and 30 can each carry one camera and up to six lenses, including a 70-200 f2.8.  The Sling-O-Matic 30 also features space for a 15.4 inch laptop.
