The Polaroid Name is Coming to Consumer Electronics Devices

Polaroid is a name that's strongly linked to cameras - specifically the instant film cameras that made the company famous. Soon though, you'll be seeing that name on iPod docks, TVs and other consumer electronics devices.

Polaroid branded products will be hitting Asda shelves at the end of the month - Asda being a British retailer owned by Walmart. No word on whether we'll be seeing these on American soil, but if it's happening at a Walmart owned retailer overseas, there's no reason to expect that our own home-grown Walmart won't be taking advantage of it too. Only time will tell.
