The New York Historical Society Wants Your Times Square Pictures

No, it's not a contest, and there's no prize to be won. You're not competing to be the best and your photos won't be judged. This is about preserving a bit of history.

The New York Historical Society is looking for photos taken in Times Square between November 21, 2010 and March 31, 2011 and is looking for a wide range of shots. Group photographs, shots of architecture, the outdoors, advertisements and even the interiors of notable buildings will be accepted.

Contributors will have their photographs entered into a searchable database and preserved for future exhibitions, projects and displays. It's a way to share your experiences with future generations.
