The Lil-Mule Motion Control Time Lapse Dolly Kickstarter Ends Soon at Over 300% Funding

The Lil-Mule is an incredibly cool new device that's currently up on Kickstarter for funding, and is sitting at $50,000 with a mere $15,000 goal. Needless to say, this one's getting off the ground. The Lil-Mule is a heavy-duty motorized camera dolly that can make straight or curved moves and has no limit to the amount of distance it can travel.

The Lil Mule is simple to use - all you need to do is turn the knob that controls your speed forward or in reverse and you're done. Different motors are available for different effects too. For $675 on Kickstarter you'l get a pack of three different motors including 0.5 rpm, 6 rpm and 20 rpm. The basic motorized version will run you $525.

Early reviews, like the one from Chase Jarvis and Sohail, have been positive, with the Lil-Mule's arcing feature being called out as the marquee - it's what makes the Lil-Mule special.

There's still time to pick up a Lil-Mule through the Kickstarter promotion. Deliveries are expected in March and April.
