The OpenRAW Initiative Launches World-Wide Survey
The OpenRAW initiative - a non-profit association of photographers and imaging specialists with strong interests in the future of RAW technology - have launched a world-wide survey to collect information on the experiences, beliefs, and preferences of photographers and other interested parties with RAW file formats and image technology. We encourage all of our members with an interest in RAW image formats to visit the OpenRAW website and to complete the survey questionnaire.Participating in the study will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. All responses will be kept completely anonymous and confidential. The results will be reported publicly as soon as the survey is completed (by the end of March 2006).
The OpenRAW organization and Survey have no connection with any business or commercial interest. The purpose of the survey is to give professional and amateur photographers the opportunity to express their beliefs and preferences to camera manufacturers, software development firms, and actors in the digital imaging industry.
