The DVSpot Web Site Is Now Open

Our good friend Jeff Keller, the operator of the DC Resource web site has just taken the wraps off of his latest creation, the DVSpot.com and in his words:

"We hope to be the Web's destination for information on consumer DV camcorders. That includes all cameras that cost less than or so -- we will not be covering professional equipment or software. Also, initially we'll be focusing on just the camcorders -- in the future, I'd like to cover software and video editing techniques as time and resources permit."

He is launching his new site with three camera reviews; the Canon Elura 2, the Sony DCR-PC110 and the Sony DCR-TRV130. There is an info database with nearly 60 camcorders listed which according to Jeff covers just about all of the models that are currently shipping. Using the database you can compare up to 3 camcorders and check out their specs. There is also a message board so give his new site a look-see and feel free to leave him feedback, just remember that the whole site is brand new and there will undoubtedly be a lot of changes and additions coming.
