Test Drive a Virtual Olympus PEN E-PL1

If you live near a large electronics store or specialty photo shop, you've got a good way to go hands on with a camera before you buy it, but in-store feature exploration leaves a lot to be desired.  In the case of the PEN E-PL1, you won't even need to leave your house for a demo.

Thanks to the new trend of augmented reality, you'll be able to check out the PEN virtually.

If you pick up the June issue of Wired or the July issue of Popular Photography, you'll find a card inside, shaped like the Olympus PEN.  Simply take the card out, set up your webcam and head over to the Olympus website to get started.

You can then hold the card, as if it was a camera, and shoot some photos.  Turn it around and you'll be able to adjust your settings.  You can even set it on a virtual tripod so you can feel free to explore.  Even if you don't have the card, you can swing on over to GetOlympus.com/PEN3D and check out what it's got to offer.
