Sony's USB Card Reader Makes it Simple to get Photos on your TV

Sony.jpgModern televisions are bursting with amazing new features. They can connect to the internet, they can fake surround sound, level out the volume of commercials and even show you TV and movies in 3D.

One feature that's common in most high-end televisions, Blu-ray players and even videogame systems is the ability to display pictures you've taken. It's a great idea, but since the sets only accept USB it's not exactly convenient.

Sony's new MRW-F3 solves that problem. It's a compact USB adapter made specifically to get video and photos from an SD/SDHC/SDXC or MS Duo card to your TV. Sony says that the device will work with Bravia TVs and Sony Blu-ray players, but there's no reason to believe it won't work with other sets as well.
