Sony World Photography Awards Shortlist Announced

The Sony World Photography Awards have just announced the shortlist of potential winners for this year's awards. Finalists for each category have been selected from over 105,000 entries from across 162 countries.

"This has been an extraordinary year for the competition. With the highest number of entries since the awards were founded," says the World Photography Organization's creative director Astrid Merget. "We are clearly reaching a vast international community of photographers."
