Sony Unveils Their Photokina 2012 Alpha, Cyber-Shot, and NEX Offerings

sony_STL_A99V_wSAL2470Z_wVG-C99AM_front_750.jpgJust one week prior to Photokina 2012, Sony has just announced some heavy hitters in their Alpha, NEX, and Cyber-Shot categories. Each new model boasts some impressive specifications, with the theme for this fall's products hovering around the words, 'full-frame'. Out of five new models, three offer their newly developed 24.3-megapixel Exmor CMOS full-frame image sensor; along with the latest version of their powerful BIONZ processor.

For our camera buffs, you'll want to check out the Alpha SLT-A99 (successor to the DSLR-A900), NEX-6, and the Cyber-Shot DSC-RX1 (the World's first full-frame, compact point-n-shoot). Those who focus more on video will appreciate the professional level video options packed inside the SLT-A99, along with the new full-frame NEX-VG900, and the crop body NEX-VG30.
