Sony launches the Alpha 77 Mach II

Sony has just introduced the next generation of their top-of-the-line crop body Alpha model, with the new Alpha 77 Mach II (aka the a77M2). Looking at the specifications, you'll notice that the a77M2 shares almost identical specs with its predecessor, the a77. However, looking closer you will see that Sony has added some 2014 upgrades, which includes their new BIONZ X processor (same as found in their Alpha 7R), added built-in Wi-Fi with NFC tech, etc. The new BIONZ processor helps the camera increase its burst capabilities, too. While the frame rate has remained the same at a smoking 12fps (at full resolution), the frame depth has been significantly increased out to 60 frames. BIONZ X also allows the a77M2 to offer increased light sensitivity, with an expanded ISO range of 100 - 25,600. Perhaps the most notable upgrade is the a77M2's new 79-point AF system.
