Sony Launches its First USB 3.0 Thumb Drive
Sony's own tests show that you can expect read speeds of up to 120 MB/s and 90 MB/s. That's a maximum of course, but speeds like that make for some nice quick file transfers, whether you're moving photos or videos.
The Mach features an aluminum body that's made to take a bit more of a beating than the standard plastic models. The ability to "click" the connector in like you would an ink pen gives a bit more security - not a necessity but still nice to have.
The drive will be available this month in sizes of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
