Sony Enters the Lifeproof Market with New Cyber-Shot DSC-TX5

Hot off the press, Sony has just unveiled their their latest T-series Cyber-shot, the DSC-TX5. Not only does this model offer a powerful 10-megapixel Exmor R image sensor, but also boasts waterproof (up to 10 feet), dustproof, shockproof (up to 5 feet), and freezeproof (down to 14°F) ratings.

This is the first model we have seen from Sony to offer these specifications, and they are also claiming that the TX5 is the world's smallest digital still camera with optical image stabilization and touchscreen operation to offer these abilities.
