Sony Adds a New Compact Super-zoom to their Cyber-Shot Line, Along with a New Set of Digital Binoculars

FDA-EV1MK_right_DSC-HX50V_Black.jpgHot off the press, Sony USA has just unveiled the all new Cyber-Shot DSC-HX50V, the World's smallest and lightest fixed lens camera to offer a 30x optical zoom lens. On top of having such a generous zoom inside its compact form factor, the HX50V boasts a sophisticated look and feel, with many features you'd expect to find on a ILCor dSLR type camera. One of its most appealing features is built-in Wi-Fi, which allows you to connect the HX50V to your iOS or Android powered smart device via their free Playmories app, for effortless uploads to your favorite social sites, or remote camera control. See our Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX50V Preview for more details.

Alongside the HX50V, Sony debuted their DEV-50 digital binoculars. With various features that you just can't get with a set of optical binoculars, the DEV-50 offers unmatched functionality. To start, these binoculars boast twin Sony G lenses that offer a 0.8x - 25x continuous zoom range. Combined with twin OELD Tru-finders in the eye pieces (right eye and left eye), the DEV-50 gives you a highly detailed view from 36.3 - 2007mm (equivalent). To top it all off, you get automatic, continuous autofocus; another feature you just can't find in a set of optical binoculars. To get more info, check out our DEV-50 Preview
