Snapseed Comes to Android - Now Free for iOS

Snapseed, formally of NIK Software which was recently purchased by Google, has finally come out for Android phones. The popular photo editing program was also made free, both for Android and iOS. As you might expect, the Android version of this program has some very strong tie ins to Google +.

Snapseed, which used to run $5.00, is a more powerful editing app than other popular programs like Instagram. As product manager Josh Haftel puts it, "It's not like Instagram with one click filters. You're not in and out in 5 seconds. You do more customization, from color saturation to light leaks."
