SLR Magic Releases a Four Thirds 12mm Ultra-Wide Lens

SLR Magic will be releasing a new lens this month that they're calling the fastest in its focal length. The 12mm f1.6 HyperPrime lens is the fifth four-thirds lens from SLR Magic and offers the widest angle of the bunch.

"We place our highest priority in the development of all HyperPrime lenses to fulfill the demands of professional cinematographers and photographers," says SLR Magic. "The design and build of the SLR Magic HyperPrime 12mm F1.6 is solid and reliable."

SLR Magic suggests that this lens will be perfect for interior, landscape, and architecture photographers as well as cinematographers. It will be available towards the end of this month at a price yet to be announced (we've heard estimates of $499).
