Six New Additions To Olympus Family

CENTER VALLEY, Pa., August 23, 2007 – Olympus today announced three new additions to its Stylus family digital compact cameras – the Stylus 820 (8mp), Stylus 830 (8mp),Stylus 1200 (12mp) and three cameras to their FE series - FE 280 (8mp) FE 290 (7.1mp), and FE 300 (12mp).

These cameras are feature rich and include Face Detection Technology. The three new Stylus cameras also offer Shadow Adjustment Technology, Perfect Shot Preview, Image Stabilization, large HyperCrystalTM LCD screens and Preset Shooting Modes. While the FE series cameras offer High Res LCD, Face Detection Technology, ease of use and backlight boost button.

The Stylus 820 will be available in September 2007, and the Stylus 830 and 1200 will be available in October 2007. The cameras ship with: a wrist strap, WIN/Mac USB cable, audio/video cable, LI-42B Li-Ion rechargeable battery and charger, manual, warranty card and a CD-ROM with OLYMPUS Master 2 Software. The FE-280, FE-290 and FE-300 will be available in August 2007. Each will include a LI-42B Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery and Charger, USB Cable, Audio/Video Cable, Wrist Strap, Manual, CD-ROM with OLYMPUS Master™ 2 Software and Warranty Card.
