Sigma Launches Pre-Orders for New Global Vision Lenses

Sigma has announced pricing and availability for three new Global Vision lenses. The lineup includes the Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary, the Sigma 40mm F1.4 DG HSM Art ($1399), and the Sony E-mount version of its "Bokeh Master" Sigma 105 F1.4 DG HSM Art ($1599).

The Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary is a portrait-length prime with a compact, lightweight design. Models are available for use with APS-C-format Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras or Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. In addition, the device offers a pleasing bokeh effect and a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture. Likewise, the lens provides smooth and quiet autofocus making it a great fit for video shooting.

Meanwhile, the Sigma 40mm F1.4 DG HSM Art is a wide normal-length lens with models available for Sigma, Nikon, Canon and Sony E mount camera systems. Likewise, the unit features a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture making it ideal for achieving shallow depth of field and selective focus, as well as for use in low-light conditions. 

Sigma 105mm F1.4 DG HSM Art in Sony E-Mount.jpgFinally, the Sigma 105mm F1.4 DG HSM Art serves as the ninth lens in the Sigma F1.4 line-up for full-frame cameras. The short-telephoto prime lens is designed for use with full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Likewise, the unit can also be used with APS-C models, providing a 157.5mm equivalent focal length.

All three lenses are set to start shipping this month.
