Sigma Announces SD10 SLR and Two New Sigma Lenses Designed for Digital Cameras

Sigma Corporation announces new Sigma SD10 Digital SLR camera powered by 2nd generation Foveon® X3™ image sensor, which captures all RGB colors at each and every pixel. The new Foveon X3® sensor will allow for higher shutter speeds ideal for sports action as well as in low light situations requiring long exposures up to 30 seconds.

Sigma Corporation also announces the release of two new DC (Digital Camera) auto focus zoom lenses in Sigma, Canon, Nikon (D) and Pentax mounts. The compact and lightweight Sigma 18-50mm F3.5-5.6 DC with an overall length of 67.5mm (2.6") and weight of only 245g (8.6 ounces). And the Sigma 55-200mm F4-5.6 DC with an overall length of 84.6mm (3.3"), and weight of only 310g/10.9 ounces.
