Sanyo Announces Two New 6-Megapixel Cameras

LetsGoDigital has posted news about two new Sanyo digital cameras announced at CeBIT 2006 this week. The Xacti VPC-E60 is a stylish and thin 6 megapixel compact with a large 3-inch LCD display, Touch sensor shutter release for fast focusing and an integrated image stabilizer. The Sanyo Xacti E60 comes with a Li-ion rechargeable battery and has 32MB of internal memory plus SD card slot.

The Xacti VPC-S60 is an affordable 6 megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom, 2.5-inch color LCD and Touch sensor shutter. It runs on AA batteries and has ~22MB of internal memory and SD card slot. Both cameras will be available at the end of March in the European market, U.S. availability is not yet known at this time.
