Sandisk Announces $5,000 Snowboard and Ski Photo Sequence Contest

Thanks to digital photography, action sequence photos have had a resurgance in the last few years gracing the covers and pages of sports magazines.  "In tribute to the action sequence," Sandisk has created a contest that could net you a cool five grand.

If you're a US resident and you can take a good photo sequence, you could win $5,000 in the contest sponsored by Sandisk and judged by representatives from Freeskier and Snowboard magazines.  Two winners will be selected, one for snowboarding, and one for skiing.

If that's not enough, your photo will also be printed in the October 2010 issue of either Snowboard Magazine or Freeskier Magazine along with an announcement of your victory.  The photo may also be used to promote the next year's competition.

You can submit photos you already have, but new material is preferred.  Some spectacular photos have already been submitted, but you've got until April 1st to get your submission in.  Contest rules, details and a submission form can be found at Best Photo Sequence.
