SanDisk Unveils World's Fastest 1 Gigabyte CompactFlash Card

PMA 2003 LAS VEGAS--March 3, 2003-- SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq:SNDK) today announced a 1 gigabyte (GB) SanDisk Ultra CompactFlash card with a sustained write speed of up to 6 megabyte (MB) per second and sustained read speed of 9MB/sec., making it the fastest and largest capacity Type I CompactFlash card. In addition, SanDisk introduced the SanDisk Ultra SD card line to its family of high-speed film cards specifically designed for digital cameras. The new SanDisk Ultra cards are designed for serious photographers who use digital cameras with CompactFlash or SD slots. The announcement was made at the Photo Marketing Association trade show where SanDisk is showing its products in booth L-70.

SanDisk Introduces New Line of "Extreme" Digital Film Cards
