Samsung Releases Two New Affordable Compact Digicams

Samsung has just announced two new compact digicams to add to their growing ranks, the ES80 and PL20. Both models offer some standard features, with ease of use and price point being be main concerns. The PL20 is a 14-megapixel camera that boasts 720p (1280x720) HD video capture, a 5x optical zoom, Smart Auto 2.0, and various other features to help you take nice snapshots. The ES80 uses the same 5x optical zoom lens, however the resolution in both still and video modes drops a bit to 12-megapixels and 640x480, respectively.
