Samsung Announces the PL90: an Affordable Point-n-Shoot Digicam

Samsung continues to unveil new models for the second half of 2010, including the
new PL90. This is a simple compact digital camera that offers some typical features for a camera in the sub $150 US category. Such items are 12-megapixels of resolution, a 4x optical zoom lens, 2.7-inch LCD screen, and Smart Auto exposure control. However, the PL90 is quite unique with the inclusion of a built-in, flip-out USB plug; much like we've seen on many of Cisco's Flip Video camcorders like the
MinoHD.
This unit will be offered in two color schemes, black with red or black with silver, for an estimated street price of $149.99 US. It's scheduled to hit dealer's shelves sometime next month (September 2010). For more details and additional photos, check out our
