Samsung Announces a Rugged Pocket Video Camera

The W200 is a camera built to stand up to whatever you can throw at it. It's waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and even features a special anti-fog coating on the lens. Samsung says you'll get clear, high-quality video under almost any condition.

Samsung's new "multi-proof" camera is waterproof down to three meters, which is enough for a day at the pool, snorkeling at the lake or even going down to check out some shallow reefs. The screen has an anti-water drop coating as well, which means you should never have to wipe off condensation or steam.

"The W200 is the ideal Pocket Cam for anyone who wants to experience life to the fullest," says Samsung VP Hyunho Chung. "We've used the latest in Samsung technology to make sure that you're able to capture a faithful memory of your experiences, wherever you go."

The W200 Pocket Cam will be available in May for a price of $159 US.
