Samsung Adds i-Function Lens Tech to the Full NX Line

i-Function.jpgIf you're not familiar with the i-Function feature that's baked into Samsung's new lenses, you should be. Using i-Function, lenses can actively control camera settings, rather than just sitting back passive.

This one button option allows you to adjust shooting controls like aperture, shutter speed, ISO and white balance without having to take your hand off of the lens. Press the button and the shooting parameter is displayed on screen, then rotate the focus ring to adjust the setting. It's a much quicker way to go about adjusting your settings.

Samsung has just announced that the entire lineup - including the NX10 thanks to new firmware - of NX cameras is now fully compatible with i-Function lenses.
