Samsung Makes More Announcements Prior To CES

Right before the CES 2009 show starts in Las Vegas, Samsung unveils even more camcorders as well as four new digicams.

The new SMX-F34 and HMX-R10 join the four HMX series HD camcorders Samsung release two days ago.

The four new digicams include:

• The HZ10W, which features a 10.2-megapixel image sensor and 10x optical zoom lens as well as 720p high-definition video at 30fps with H.264 compression.
• The TL100 is an ultra-compact model that offers 12.2-megapixels, a 3x optical zoom lens, and 2.7-inch LCD, all housed in a brushed stainless steel body.
• The SL102 and SL420 share a 10.2-megapixel imager, but offer different LCD and Zoom combos. The SL102 offers a 3x optical zoom and 2.5-inch LCD, while the SL420 adds a larger 2.7-inch LCD and more powerful 5x optical zoom lens.
