Samsung Details Galaxy Note10 & Note10+ Smartphones with Triple & Quad Camera Systems

Samsung has revealed the newest additions to its Galaxy lineup of mobile devices, the Galaxy Note10 and the Galaxy Note10+. Pre-orders are set to launch on August 8 via retailers like B&H Photo-Video with prices starting at $949.99.

"From the very beginning, the Galaxy Note has stood for the best-of-the-best technologies and features. The Galaxy Note10 re-imagines this promise for the modern Note fan who uses their smartphone to take their productivity and creativity to the next-level, and who effortlessly flows between ideas and endeavors at a moment’s notice," said DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics. "Every element of Galaxy Note10 was designed to help users achieve more. Whether they’re finishing a big project for work, capturing and editing a video, or playing their favorite mobile game, the Galaxy Note10 will help them do it faster and better."

The Galaxy Note10 uses a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a resolution of 2280x1080 and 401ppi. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note10+ offers a larger 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a resolution of 3040×1440 and 498ppi. Both screens are HDR10+ certified with support for Dynamic Tone Mapping and Wide Color. Likewise, both models also include a re-designed, unibody S Pen with support for advanced note-taking, air gesture controls, and a variety of camera and video editing functions.

Speaking of cameras, the Galaxy Note10 utilizes a rear Triple Camera system with an Ultra Wide 16MP camera, a Wide-angle 12MP camera, and a Telephoto 12MP camera. The step-up Galaxy Note10+ also adds on a special rear DepthVision Camera capable of scanning objects in order to turn them into 3D renderings. A 10MP front camera is integrated on both models as well, complete with support for Night Mode, enabling low light selfies.

In addition, both models feature advanced video capabilities, including a Live Focus Video option that provides depth-of-field adjustments for creating background blur; a Zoom-In Mic feature that can amplify audio in the shot while blocking other background noise; and an improved Super steady feature for stabilizing footage, even in Hyperlapse mode. Likewise, the devices also include a handy Video Editor with S Pen functionality and the option to add Adobe Rush for more comprehensive editing tools.

And for gamers and vloggers, there's also a Screen Recorder option that can capture on-screen footage with support for picture-in-picture and S Pen annotations. Finally, the new Galaxy Note10 devices also offer a new AR Doodle feature which allows the S Pen to personalize photos with dynamic drawings, effects, and animations that track to the image.

The Galaxy Note10 and the Galaxy Note10+ are set to start shipping on August 23.
