Sakar Launches Ultra-Thin 1080p Polaroid Camcorders

Sakar International has announced the launch of a few new Polaroid branded 1080p camcorders.  Of particular note is the iD820, which the company calls "one of the world's thinnest," measuring in at just a half-inch wide and weighing a mere four ounces.  It also allows you to record both 1080p and standard definition video at the same time for quicker uploads.  You can find it for $179.

The new Polaroid Polaroid iD879 is similar in capabilities, but the 5x optical zoom means it's going to be a little bit bulkier.  It also offers two different memory slots - microSD and SD.  The iD879 will also run you $179.

Finally, the Polaroid iD450 features built-in Wi-Fi, which allows you to stream whatever you're recording live on Ustream.  It also gives you the option of viewing live video on your iPad, iPhone or Android device.  The iD450 is available now for a price of - you guessed it - $179.
