Rollei Rolls Out a 3D Frame to Europe

Rollei.pngBack when digital picture frames first hit the market we couldn't get enough of them. They blew us away with their ability to showcase our photos and they made Christmas shopping easy. For most though, the novelty of a digital frame has worn off.

A company called Rollei is getting people excited all over again with the Designline 3D, a 7 inch digital picture frame capable of showing photos in 3D. You'll get an 800x480 resolution for 3D, but that might just be enough considering the size of the frame and the effect of turning pictures 3D.

It's not bad for a 2D frame either, offering stylish design, a 3 hour battery life, and it can even handle MP3 files and E-books.

We probably won't be seeing it in the US any time soon, but European customers will be able to get their hands on it in January for around $400.
