Rokinon Announces SP 35mm F/1.2 Lens for Canon EF Mount Cameras

As part of the company's SP Series, the SP 35mm F/1.2 will join the previously released SP 14mm F/2.4, SP 85mm F/1.2, and SP 50mm F/1.2. Compatible with Canon EF mount cameras, the fast wide-angle prime manual focus lens is optimized for 50MP photo capture and 8K video recording. The unit features a 9-sheet circular aperture for background blur and bokeh effects. In addition, the lens uses an optical construction made from 12 elements in 10 groups with Extra-Low Dispersion, Aspherical and High Refractive lens components. Meanwhile, an Ultra Multi-Coating is incorporated as well to help reduce ghosting and flare. Finally, an aluminum-alloy housing gives the lens a durable and lightweight design.
