Adding HD video capability to DSLRs was overlooked by many when it was first added, but it's taken off as a legitimate way to get good video.  Shooting video isn't the same as shooting photos though, and shooting HD video makes technique even more necessary.

If you're into the idea of shooting video with your camera, the newly released "Mastering HD Video with Your DSLR" may be just the book for you.  It was written by Helmut Kraus and Uwe Steinmueller, both of who are experienced photographers and accomplished authors.

The book covers the basics, such as capturing and editing footage, and advanced concepts like features specific to DSLRs.  Kraus and Steinmueller explain the benefits to shooting HD with your camera, as well as the downsides and limitations.

"Mastering HD Video with Your DSLR" is available now at an MSRP of $34.95.  (Currently $23.58 on Amazon)
