Rocky Nook Releases Light Painting Book

Light painting is a growing style that takes a different approach to photography. Rather than using light to capture an image, you use light to create things within the image - sometimes to great effect.

The latest book to come out of Rocky Nook - "Painting with Light: Light Art Performance Photography" - was created for both those experienced with light painting and those that need an introduction to the style.

The authors are Joerg Miedza and Jan Leonardo Woellert, who have worked together to create what they call Light Art Performance Photography, or LAPP. Between them they've generated plenty of photographs, a great deal of interest and even the German national prize for scientific photography.

You can pick it up on Amazon now. It retails for $39.95, but the sale price puts it right around $25.
