Ricoh Details New GR III, WG-6, and G900 Digital Cameras

Ricoh has a launched pre-orders for three upcoming point-and-shoot camera models. The lineup includes the GR III, WG-6, and G900.

The GR III is a compact, pocketable camera model with a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and integrated 28mm f/2.8 prime wide-angle lens (35mm Equivalent). In addition, the device uses the new GR Engine 6 to capture high-resolution 14-bit DNG or JPEG stills and Full HD video. A 3-axis Shake Reduction System and a  3.0" 1.037m-dot LCD touchscreen are implemented as well.

Meanwhile, the WG-6 is an all-weather extreme compact camera model with a rugged design that offers waterproof (to depths of 65.6'), shockproof (from heights of 6.6'), freezeproof, crushproof, and dustproof protection. The device features a 20MP BSI CMOS sensor and an integrated 5x optical zoom lens with a range of 28-140mm (35mm equivalent). A 3.0" 1.04m-dot AR-coated LCD monitor is included as well, and the camera supports 4K30 video recording.

Finally, the G900 is a rugged camera model geared toward worksite applications like civil engineering, construction, disaster relief, manufacturing, and indoor industrial use. It also features a waterproof (to depths of 65.6'), shockproof (from heights of 6.6'), freezeproof, crushproof, and dustproof design, along with an enhanced Camera Memo function and password protection. The device uses a 20MP BSI CMOS sensor and a 5x Zoom Lens with a range of 28-140mm (35mm equivalent). A 3.0" 1.04m-Dot LCD Monitor is implemented as well, along with 4K30 video recording and a built-in barcode scanning function.
