Sigma has revealed pricing and availability for its new Sigma fp Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera. The camera is now available for pre-order for $1,899 with shipments set to launch at the end of October. In addition, a bundle with the fp camera and a 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens is also available for pre-order for $2,199.

Designed to serve as a "pocketable full-frame" camera, the Sigma fp incorporates a back-illuminated 35mm full-frame Bayer sensor with 24.6 effective megapixels within a compact form factor measuring just 112.6×69.9×45.3mm and weighing in at only 370g (without a battery or card). In addition, the body features die-cast aluminum alloy, a heat sink structure, and sealing on 42 points for dust- and splash-proof protection. Meanwhile, the camera is designed to support L-Mount lenses.

And when it comes to video, the camera supports 12-bit CinemaDNG external recording, 4K UHD/24fps recording, and ALL-I recording. An electronic shutter is implemented as well for quiet performance, even when shooting pictures in succession at a frame rate of 18 frames/second. Likewise, the camera offers a bevy of additional modes and features, including different color modes, a "Teal and Orange" mode, a tone curve adjustment function, a "Fill Light" option, and an Auto HDR function, along with dedicated "Tone" and "Color" buttons for easy access to settings. Finally, the unit also incorporates a rear 3.15" 2.1m-dot touchscreen.
