Polaroid Releases an iPhone App to Give You the Instant Film Experience

Polaroid instant film brings a good many people a warm feeling of nostalgia. With the days of instant film essentially behind us, Polaroid has introduced a new way to get your fix. The Instant app has been available for the iPad for a little while, but now it's finally out for the iPhone.

The filters and other photo effects are nice, if not particularly unique, but the ability to age your photos is very cool. Those looking for the full Polaroid experience will be pleased as taking a picture with the app will give you a piece of film that's completely black until it has time to develop. No word on whether shaking your phone helps it develop faster.

The Polaroid Instant Camera is available now on iTunes at a price of $0.99.
