Pictage Introduces Group-Rate Insurance for Pro Photographers

Insurance.jpgYou face plenty of challenges as a professional photographer, especially if you work freelance. You have to line up work, schedule shoots, maintain your equipment, market yourself and after all that you still need to take your photos, edit them and publish them.

There are also needs that aren't photography related and insurance is one of them. The folks at Pictage are aiming to help out with that by offering group-rate insurance to all members.

"We thought about it and realized that with a paying membership of well over 10,000, there was no reason we couldn't negotiate group plans for our members," says Pictage CEO Jim Collins. "In the end, it's logical--this is one more thing professionals need and one more thing we could logically and easily provide."

The program is called Pictage PROtect and it's available to all Pictage members. You can find out more directly through Pictage or ShootQ.
