Pics2Go Turns your iPhone Into a Film Scanner for $60

The folks at Ion have created a very cool new product that allows you to scan both printed photos and negatives using only your iPhone4 or iPhone 4s. Even better, the Pics2Go contraption comes in nice and cheap - $60 retail. You can get it for $48 if you buy it on Amazon.

Using Pics2Go you can scan 35mm negatives, slides, 3x5 and 4x6 inch pictures. From there, you can do with the pictures what you will, including sharing them to Facebook using the free companion app. Quality won't be quite up to the level that you'd get scanning your film professionally, but if you're just looking to convert your old photos into a digital format, this is a really nice, easy and cheap way to go.
