Photoworkshop.com Announces Sandisk “Go To Extremes” International Digital Photo Contest
New York, NY – November 5, 2004 – Photoworkshop.com, the premiere online photography learning center for amateurs and professionals alike, has announced it will host the SanDisk “Go To Extremes” digital photography contest. The contest, open to all amateurs and professionals worldwide, will allow photographers to, as the contest title suggests, take their creativity to extreme levels. The contest was established to celebrate SanDisk’s new Extreme III, the world’s fastest, high performance CompactFlash card that provides more than double the performance speeds of any CF card currently available on the market.The contest consists of only one category – Extremely Creative – and can include photographer’s most extreme digital images related to sports, nature, the environment, action, journalism, and any other topic or category known to mankind, including humor. All entries must be non-published images created with a digital camera and taken within the last two years. Each entrant is permitted to submit up to two entries. Walter Iooss, Jr., world-renowned sports photographer and author, will judge the entries. All winners will be announced on or before March 10, 2005.
