Photographers Needed for Portraits of Love Project
We're all pretty privileged to do what
we do. Photography as a hobby or as a job is incredibly cool and it
can open a lot of doors. We've got a lot going for us, and every
once in a while it's nice to give something back. The PhotoImaging Manufacturers and Distributors Association (PMDA) are looking for photographers to help out with the annual Portraits of Love Project, which hopes to deliver 10,000 family portraits overseas to our deployed military personnel. Anyone, from photo studios and pros to photo enthusiasts, can volunteer.
"Last year we had more than 400 photographers host portrait sessions for military families on bases and in studios throughout the country," says Joellyn Gray, president of the PMDA. "This year we hope to expand the effort."
You can find out more about what you can do at the Portraits of Love website.
