If you don't need the zoom and you're tired of waiting for a Coolpix 950 then maybe you ought to check out the Coolpix 700 instead. It has the same 2 megapixel CCD and most of the whiz-bang features minus the manual shutter and aperture controls and the swiveling lens feature.
