Phase One Launches a Trade-In Plan for Upgrades

One of the biggest complaints of people buying any technology, whether it be computers or cameras, is that their purchase will quickly be obsolete. The folks at Phase One know that well, and have launched a new Product Investment Protection Plan to keep that from happening.

If you pick up a Phase One digital back today and then decide you'd like to upgrade to a new, more expensive model, you'll get a 90 percent trade-in value on your old back. That's nearly all of your money back and Phase One guarantees that kind of trade-in value for a full 18 months.

The same goes for Phase One camera bodies and lenses, though the numbers change up a bit. You've got a full two years to upgrade, but you're only guaranteed 50 percent of your money back in trade.

It's a slick deal, but keep in mind that this only applies to Phase One gear purchased from authorized dealers. "We are eager," says CEO Henrik O. Hakosson, "to reward customers who have faith in us and invest in our products.
