Peter Read Miller at Kingston’s Icons of Photography

Fountain Valley, CA – June 15, 2006 – Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, announced that award-winning sports photographer Peter Read Miller will be the featured photographer on Kingston’s Icons of Photography Web site beginning today.

Peter has been shooting for Sports Illustrated for more than 20 years and has more than 90 covers to his credit. He has spent many hours at the world’s greatest sporting events, capturing fast-moving action on the field. For this month’s technique, Miller talks about how slowing down to take a portrait on the sidelines or in the studio can reveal a lot about an athlete — whether it’s the MVP in the Super Bowl or the MVP in your family.

“Digital imaging has definitely had a positive impact on how I work and I think how journalists in general work today,” said Peter Read Miller. “For me, working with Kingston was perfect because they offered me a complete solution for all my storage and image capture needs. Thanks to the combination of 100x Ultimate CF cards and a Kingston memory upgrade in my computer, I am capturing, storing and sharing pictures faster than ever before,” added Miller.

Kingston will introduce a new photographer with their featured photographic tip, gallery of images, calendar of events and biography around the 15th of each month. Photographers and consumers can read the latest tips and view images by logging onto www.kingston.com/iop. Other Icons of Photography include Harry Benson, Barbara Bordnick, Colin Finlay, Douglas Kirkland, Gerd Ludwig, and Chris Rainier.
