Panasonic's New Gold SD Cards Offer 80MB/s Write Speeds

Panasonic-SDHC-I.JPGIn April, Panasonic will be launching a new series of SD cards that boast 80MB/s write speeds and read speeds up to 95MB/s.

The company claims that these new cards are extremely durable thanks to the Super Intelligent Controller that protects your data from sudden power failures, Refresh Function which drastically extends the life of your card and Smart Data Writing, which minimizes the risk of defects.

Panasonic says that the new cards will be available in April in sizes of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. Pricing has yet to be announced.
