Panasonic Updates 14-140 Lens Firmware

Panasonic announced a new firmware update today that should improve things for those using the Lumix G Vario HD 14-140mm lens.

Panasonic says that the lens update offers "Improved stability of O.I.S.(Optical Image Stabilizer) and AF(Auto Focus) in movie recording." That's a great setup for anyone using their camera to record video, and should be a welcome change.

You can download the update directly from Panasonic. It's not a very user-friendly site, but scroll down to the beginning and hit accept and you'll be taken to the page with updates on it. Be aware that there's a different download procedure if you're using an Olympus camera and a Panasonic lens.
