Panasonic Shows Off a Wearable HD Video Camera

If you've ever wanted to capture your life from a first person perspective, Panasonics HX-A100 may be just what you're looking for. This wearable camera attaches to an ear hook and records hands-free video at 1080p and 60 frames per second.

The HX-A100 includes Wi-Fi capabilities which make streaming possible and also gives you the ability to start or stop recording with your smartphone or tablet. The camera is waterproof to five feet for 30 minutes, dust proof and includes a function to cut excess wind noise. With Wi-Fi off you'll get 140 minutes of battery life.

Those looking to get into some first-person action shots while playing sports or running may find the HX-A100 a nice alternative to the Go Pro, which requires something to mount to. We'll be curious to find out just how well this stays on your ear though.
