Panasonic Plans Lens Renewal to Update Four of Their Micro Four Thirds Lens Offerings

Panasonic will be taking 4 of its top lenses (listed below) and revamping them to produce higher optical quality. They are geared towards improving the quality of video recording with silent operation with an inner-focus drive system, micro-step drive aperture control system, and improved tracking capabilities with high-speed frame analysis.

These 4 lenses will also be outfitted with the Power O.I.S. image stabilization system that works with the built-in I.S. systems in Panasonic's newer cameras.  In addition to the The LUMIX G VARIO 45-200mm / F4.0-5.6 II / POWER O.I.S. (H-FSA45200) and LUMIX G VARIO 100-300mm / F4.0-5.6 II / POWER O.I.S. (H-FSA100300), a total of 9 lenses have been upgraded to a rugged dust/splash-proof design.
