Panasonic Launches the LUMIX DMC-G85

Panasonic_G85_Front_LCD_1800px.jpgPanasonic has just released their latest G-series ILC, with the launch of the new G85 (aka the LUMIX DMC-G85). Borrowing many of the same features from the GX85 they announced earlier in 2016, the G85 sports the same 16MP Live MOS image sensor and new VENUS image processor. This combination not only allows the G85 to capture high-quality still images at up to 9fps, but it can also record UHD 4K resolution video at various frame rates (30/25/24p).

Other appealing features, for both still photo and video buffs, is the addition of Panasonic's new Dual IS (version 2), 5-axis image stabilization system, in-camera 4K focus stacking, improved battery life (up to 800 frames in power save mode or 320 using CIPA standards), increased buffer size (now allows for up to 200 JPEGs or 40 RAW files in burst mode), and the body is now weather sealed to help repel moisture and dust.
