Panasonic Earns CES 2011 Award Honors

panasonic_GH2_14-42mm_550.jpgThe Consumer Electronics Show is fast approaching, but the awards for achievement and innovation are already going out. Among the recipients is Panasonic, for several of their new products.

As you might have guessed, a lot of the praise Panasonic has gotten is for 3D technology, including the HDC-SDT750 - the world's first consumer level 3D camcorder. It's the first on the market and can even shoot in full 1080p when the 3D lens isn't attached.

The Lumix GH2 also got called out for many reasons, including touch-control operation, pro level features and of course, compatibility with the H-FT012 lens which is also being honored.

"Panasonic is thrilled to have three of our Imaging products win the Consumer Electronics Association's prestigious awards," says Panasonic VP Richard Simone. "it truly validates our success in manufacturing innovative and high-performing digital cameras, camcorders and interchangeable lenses."
