An optional paid firmware update will also be available for the S1 adding support for 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 30p internal video recording and 4K 60p/50p HDMI output along with V-Log. Meanwhile, the S1R offers 4K UHD recording with 4:2:0 8-bit color.
